Bead 16 - Sholo Guti

This is also known as Sixteen Soldiers which is a two-player abstract strategy board game which belongs to Sri Lanka and also comes from India under the name Cows and Leopards.

Another variant of this game is also played in Bangladesh which is named as Sholo guti.

Its a one way game usually played in villages where people draw the court on the ground and play using stones as pawns.

This game is similar to the draughts (checkers) and Alquerque in which players have to hop over one another's pieces to capture them.

You may have also seen its variants like Peralikatuma, Kotu Ellima, Permainan-Tabal, Draughts and Alquerque.

Features:
